OUR STORY
I started Focachís in my Brooklyn apartment in 2025.
After hundreds of bakes, flour blends, and late nights
chasing the right crumb, one thing stayed constant: a deep
love for bread. I set out to create a focaccia that’s
light, airy, and full of character.
I believe a sandwich should feel indulgent and effortless
at the same time. Simple, honest ingredients. A
long-fermented, crunchy stuffed cloud you can hold in your
hands.
I proudly source locally and work with Brooklyn suppliers
and small businesses who care as much as I do. This truck
is the result of obsession, patience, and a lot of flour.
This is my way of sharing bread.

meet tamir

Tamir is the owner of Focachís food truck in Brooklyn, NY. From a very young age, he was drawn to the kitchen. While other kids were playing, he was standing quietly behind my mom and grandmother, watching every movement - how they chopped, kneaded, seasoned, and tasted. He wasn’t just observing; he was studying. I was fascinated by the rhythm of it all - the way simple ingredients could transform into something that brought everyone to the table.

Bread, especially, captured his heart. There was something magical about flour, water, salt, and time becoming something alive. The smell of fresh bread, the sound of a crust cracking, the warmth of it in your hands. It felt powerful. Even as a kid, he understood that bread wasn’t just food. It was a connection.
