Kimchi Smoke is Texas BBQ with a Korean flair from Award Winning Chef Robert Austin Cho. They have won multiple awards at Brisket King NYC (Brisket and Pastrami) and Pig Island NYC (Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, and Ribs). His menu at Kimchi Smoke features dishes such as smoked brisket with kimchi barbecue sauce, Korean barbecue ribs, and pork belly burnt ends with gochujang glaze.
Robert Austin Cho is a Korean-American pit-master and chef, best known for his passion for Korean-inspired barbecue, and his friendly personality. Cho hails from Seoul, South Korea, yet his heart and talent found their true home in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where Kimchi Smoke, a beloved barbecue haven exists.
He developed his love of barbecue at a young age, and began competing in barbecue competitions in 2014. He has won numerous awards, including the Brisket King NYC competition three times. Cho has also appeared on the Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay, the Rachael Ray Show, Fox 5 and ABC7 News.
