Meet Chef Meny Vaknin

A “Chopped” champion and celebrated restaurateur of Marcel and Mishmish in Montclair — states, “I’ve always wanted my restaurant customers to feel like they are dining in my own home, full of the comfort, aromas, and flavors that I loved growing up in Israel. Now I am proud to be able to bring that warmth and delicious food to people’s homes.”

  • Fast And Casual

    Minimum of 50 guests, suggested for high volume fast-paced event to feed larger amount of people, corporate lunches/parties, office employees apprecation day etc. Menu can be tailored for specific crowed 15-25 hours usually. Choice of our signature sandwiches; vegetarian sabich/chicken shawarma and two kinds of hummus bowl. Every guest is entitled to one order.

  • Open Service

    Includes our full street menu, vegan, vegetarian, and chicken signature sandwiches and bowls with a couple of sides. Guests can order whatever they like and come back for seconds. This allows guests to savor our dishes while enjoying the party. Suggested events; birthdays, graduations, family gatherings. Bar or bat mitzvah.

  • Israeli Market Fair

    Buffet style - choice of two mains - chicken and vegetarian plus sides; Old city hummus topped with sumac and olive oil, served with warm pitas Israeli chopped salad. Grape leaves. Zaatar from potatoes.

  • Israeli Market Fair - Messiba (Big Party) Style

    Buffet of the following: Three main courses - chicken shawarma, falafel, and chicken schnitzel in challah buns plus zaatar farm potatoes. Spread of 'salatim' and sides: marinated cabbage, Israeli chopped salad, pickles and olives, roasted beets, sabich tray and pitas. Potato Bourekas. Chocolate rugelach. Suggested for weddings, bar, or bat mitzva, birthdays and graduations.
