Julie Waxman spent 20 years working in corporate retail at SFA and Macy’s. Prior to that she founded, built, and sold a cookie company during her days as a student at Cornell University. In 2016, Julie noticed a trend over rainbow-colored desserts and a gap in the market for colorful chocolate chip cookies. So, using a recipe she had honed over her college years, Julie started making chocolate chip cookies with rainbow dough with the mission to create the “Happiest Cookie in the Market.” Baked in Color was born and has flourished ever since.
