MEET JOE JIANNETTO
Don’t fix what ain’t broken. That’s the philosophy Joe Jiannetto follows when it comes to his grandmother’s recipe for Sicilian pizza. Joe was born and raised in Staten Island in an Italian household that has been using family recipes passed down for generations. Joe grew up working in pizza shops on Staten Island, and in 1998 he finally decided to open his own food truck that would sell pizza just like grandma used to make – with the sauce always on top! And so Jiannetto’s Pizza Truck was born! Jiannetto’s quickly grew in popularity and has since expanded to three food trucks in NYC, serving some of the best Sicilian pizza you’ll find in New York.
