MEET THE TSAMPAS BROTHERS
Brothers George and Koasts Tsampas have been carrying on the King Souvlaki of Astoria family business ever since their uncle handed down the reins in 1991. Since then, the kings and their children have worked 15 hour days in the rain, snow, and scorching heat to successfully grow a humble little King Souvlaki food cart to 4 food trucks and a brick-and-mortar restaurant. According to the brothers, the secret to their success is their marinade, which is so delicious that it’s something you’ll find on the streets of Athens.
