Wanna Empanada is a family-owned food truck business launched by Philip Gioio, wife Kenelyn, and mother Doreen Gioio. Philip’s tech-savvy skills and go-getter personality, combined with Kenelyn’s professional culinary background and Doreen’s special Italian touch, make up the dynamic Gioio trio who whip up some of the best fried and flaky empanadas in the game. The Gioio family was born in Westchester County, and as they often joke, “They’ll never leave.” Their sense of responsibility and pride for Westchester is contagious.
